This shows that women are in most cases faced with the challenge of having to raise their children alone, without fathers.

c. Thesis statement: There are a lot of single moms in nowadays society but they did not get enough attentions that they should have

II. Body

a. Topic sentence: in the cultural definition, a mother’s role became a love giver.

Supporting details and explanations: single mothers need to provide their love while providing them money to get their kids go to school. It gives them double pressure. Since men are the breadwinners of the traditional family, in the absence of the child support or social benefits the mother must fulfill this role whilst also providing adequate parentage. The mother has to make sure that a child gets all the support he or she wants in terms of love and care. Children should not be left to feel lonely, or that their fathers are not with them. This is the role of a mother.

b. Topic sentence: The rate of divorce is rising

Supporting details and explanations: women are no longer feeling that they are happy in their marriages. The result is that they end up breaking and getting divorces, so that they can lead their own lives. They are the ones who take the responsibility of children in most cases, leaving men to go for other wives. This is a culture which is not only in the US, but almost in all parts of the world. The many challenges in marriages are making women to dissolve their marriages and agree to live alone with their children.

c. Topic sentence: Women are more independent now

Supporting details and explanations: unlike in the olden times, in the present, women are empowered financially. Women are now working and are getting salaries. Some of them are CEOs while others are yet managers who are running companies and organizations. There is no reason as to why women should not take care of their children and give them the life they deserve. In addition, they are learned and they know their rights, and the rights of their children which allows them to protect their children from any threats that may be around them.

III. Conclusion:

It is clear that single others are very common in the present day and we should take it as our responsibility to give them enough attention.

b. Expand on the main idea

We know that this is happening, however, we need to realize that the cause of this situation. Single mothers’ issue is a significant implication of the improvement of the position of women in this society, but it doesn’t mean that is a good thing. It shows that women are free to live their lives as they get out of the life that men have put them in the past. They are no longer prisoners to the homestead just as men used to think of them, but are free people can speak their minds up. This is why they are able to say that enough is enough for the marriages that they feel are not working and start their lives alone with their children.
