Part B: You are to write an essay that addresses the following prompt: Investigate the teaching and learning of one of the Arts learning areas/subjects—either Visual Arts, Music or Drama

In Part B, you must:

1.describe a specific pedagogical approach to the teaching and learning of one specific Arts learning area/subject (Visual Arts, Music or Drama) that you have chosen

2.explain where this one specific Arts learning area/subject is situated and structured in the curriculum for primary education, and explain how it could be integrated across the curriculum

3.define the elements of the one specific Arts learning area/subject that are required to be understood in order to effectively teach it in primary education.
